Who I am is far more complex than a mere paragraph can convey, yet try, I will. Who I am begins with my surroundings and relationships. I am a divorcee, as of December 2007, after nearly seven years of marriage. I live in a small flat in Ogden, with my boyfriend whom I call Ryder here. I am a hopeless romantic, trapped in a shy mindset. I make a living as an Administrative Assistant, but I live for art in many forms. I occasionally write. I paint, do calligraphy, sew, costume, embroider, and dabble in graphic arts.
I am a redhead to the core, yet stereotypes don’t transmit the full meaning of the label. I excel at making mistakes, and yet strive to be at peace with myself and the universe despite my shortfalls. This balance is often elusive, yet each day begins anew like a flower bud rising to greet the sun. It is a chance to start again, and strive for perfection. Not perfection as in flawlessness, but perfection in accomplishment; achieving my purpose each day – to realize inner harmony.
I walk in a shroud of mist surrounded by religious turmoil, having turned my back on the religion of my family. I seek spirituality without doctrine. I am not open to discussions of conversion; I will find my way when the way is ready to be found.
This LJ is a place for me to try to be honest and forthright to myself, in order to better myself and to share my struggles and triumphs to similar beings.
I am a Libra with Aries rising, I am a Snake in the oriental zodiac, and live my life on the wings of change.
